Friday, February 10, 2006, 7 p.m.
Each Choir will perform several selections and the
show will conclude with the combined Choirs performing!

The BMR Chorus
is in its 4th year and is taught by
Russ Arnold
The BMR Chorus has 32 members and has performed at the
“Evening of Giving” at the Emerald Square Mall (November 2004)
and
“Music in the Parks” Festival (April 2005) winning a Gold Medal
"Neponset Choral Society"
Founded in 1948, this semi-professional chorus is based in
Foxborough,
Massachusetts and has approximately 80 members covering the
southeastern Massachusetts
and northern Rhode Island areas.
Neponset Choral Society strives for professional quality concerts while providing its singers with the tools to improve their musicality.
Artistic Director, Michael Turner, has been teaching and conducting in the Boston area for over twenty years. He is a graduate of the Boston University School of Music and holds a Master of Music in Conducting and Composition from the Longy School of Music.
In 1992 he was awarded a fellowship at Northwestern University.
He has also done advanced studies at the New England Conservatory of Music and the Kodály Center of America.
He has studied conducting with Jeffrey Rink, Thomas Dunn and Robert Harris, and served as assistant to Lorna Cooke deVaron.
Mr. Turner is an active member of the Massachusetts Music Educators’ Association and designed the database and web site used by the Southeast District for audition registration and adjudication.
Currently he chairs the Performing Arts Department at the Noble and Greenough School, where he has been Choral Director since 1988.
